Storm Backs Logikcull for Next Phase of Growth

Today Logikcull announced their new round of funding led by Openview with continued support from Storm Ventures. We are super excited about this next stage of growth for the company. I became involved with the company at the beginning of the year and joined their board shortly thereafter. It has been extremely rewarding to watch the company evolve so positively over a relatively short period of time.

As early stage investors we look for companies that have a compelling value proposition that intersects with a large market opportunity and have a kickass team: Voilà Logikcull.

Andy Wilson and Sheng Yang, the company’s co-founders embody what we look for in entrepreneurs: passion, “smarts”, grittiness, and relentless execution. As investors we of course have a sworn oath to add value to our companies, but the icing on the cake is when you have relevant experience in an area that can help accelerate the company’s growth. I am happy to say that we (Logikcull, Storm, et al) have embarked on a path to expand the Logikcull value proposition to enterprise customers. I have had first hand experience going on sales calls to key enterprise accounts with Andy and I am both impressed by his delivery of the value proposition and excited about the reaction we have seen from these prospective customers.

Coincident with the funding announcement, the company has re-vamped its website. We are NOT an e-discovery company; we provide Cloud-based Legal Intelligence. It is about knowing where your data is, and what is IN your data. The value proposition is compelling, powerful and dead simple to implement. So if you come across or meet a GC or Assistant GC or CLO at an enterprise company give them this link.

Storm is excited to part of this journey with Logikcull and also that we have Openview and Blake Bartlett as a new investor partner. To quote myself from the press release: “Logikcull is helping legal teams take back control and level the playing field, while saving tremendous amounts of time and resources that have been wasted due to obsolete technology. It was a no-brainer to get involved and help them propagate their long-overdue solution to these major problems facing the legal community.”

We look forward to may more wins together and continuing to celebrate along the way!

Celebrating success!
